Greetings! I commend the GEF-UNDP-DOE Capacity Building to Remove Barriers to Renewable Energy Development in the Philippines (CBRED) Project for this initiative to inform and educate the public on renewable energy through the CBRED Website.
The CBRED Website aims to provide information on, among others, the status of the country’s renewable energy (RE) resources, different barriers to the development of RE and the measures to address the same, lessons learned from various RE programs and projects. I hope through this electronic medium, inquiries from stakeholders especially from the private sector can be immediately and adequately addressed. We envision that the CBRED Website would encourage a more interactive relationship among our partners and stakeholders.
I enjoin our co-workers in government and other stakeholders from business, industry, and other sectors to visit and use this website regularly.
