RE Training Program
Capacity building activities, mainly through training on various aspects of RE have been carried out in the past and are still being pursued in recognition of the continuing need to strengthen capacities to be responsive to the challenges at hand. Based on the assessments made during the PDF-B exercise, the major stakeholders in the country’s RE sector require capacity upgrading in the various aspects of RE development and commercialization, particularly in the policy/regulatory, financial, market, technical and operational aspects.
This project component involves the preparatin and implementation of a RE Training Program that will address the capacity building needs of the various RE stakeholders, and to improve training programs conducted in the past.
Objective
The objective of this component is to implement an RE Training Program that will address the capacity building needs of RE stakeholders and to improve existing training programs
Activities
The activities under this component are
- Training Needs Assessment and Planning;
- Design of Training Activities; and
- Sustainable Training Design
Expected Output
An RE Training Program is established and implemented that will address the capacity building needs of RE stakeholders and to improve existing training programs
