This subcontract will contribute to ongoing deliberations on the strengthening of the NRE Bill and in influencing Electricity Policy.

Expected Outputs

  • conduct a market study on RE looking in both the power and non-power markets of the RE
  • Conduct of policy studies specifically on RE electricity policy study, RE electricity pricing study, and RE power generation market study to support eh provisions of the RE bill. This will include cost and benefit analyses to provide clear economic justifications and develop the mechanics or implementation arrangements for each of the policies.
  • Develop RE strategy to facilitate and/or expand market entry on increase the production of each potential resource andmarket pair identified in the study

Subcontractor

DARUMA Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is a specialist consulting firm providing expertise in the areas of ecosystems and resources planning and management; water resources and watershed management; environmental education and risk management; community and institutional development and strengthening; and in various capacities of capability building.
