REIAC is envisioned to provide project management oversight to the CBRED Project.
RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS OF REIAC
- To recommend national policies and program strategies for the accelerated RE development in the country;
- To recommend strategies in ensuring fund commitments and co-financing arrangements for the CBRED Project by the government and other RE stakeholders;
- To conduct meetings to monitor and evaluate the progress of the CBRED Project;
- To integrate all activities by all concerned government agencies involved in renewable energy development; and,
- To oversee and monitor Project activities implemented by its sub-committees.
