Member-Organizations
Although most members of the DBKC are from the national agencies and organizations, the committee allows participation of other entities for future expansion. Foreign institutions may be considered.
Philippine National Oil Company
The PNOC was created to provide and maintain an adequate and stable supply of oil. One of the company’s missions is to engage in the exploration, development, production, distribution, transportation and utilization of energy sources such as oil, natural gas, coal and geothermal and alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, tidal, hydro, biomass and other renewable energy systems.
PNOC Energy Development Corporation
The PNOC-EDC was established in 1976 to undertake the exploration and development of geothermal energy sources in the country. It is engaged in integrated power generation and the sale of steam to the National Power Corporation (NPC). It was PNOC-EDC that was responsible for making the Philippines the 2nd largest producer of geothermal steam and user of wet steam technology for energy production.
Department of Science and Technology - Industrial Technology Development Institute
The ITDI is one of the research and development institutes under the Department of Science and Technology mandated to render a variety of services to local industries. It is the flagship agency of the Department that generates a large pool of technologies while providing technical services to industry.
University of the Philippines - Diliman
The University of the Philippines was established in 1908 by an act of the First Philippine Legislature. Act No. 1870, otherwise known as the University Charter, specifying the function of the University, which is to provide advanced instruction in literature, philosophy, the sciences, and arts, and to give professional and technical training. UP Diliman is the flagship university of the UP System. It is the administrative seat of the system as well as an autonomous university in its own right.

De La Salle University
The DLSU, particularly its Center for Micro-Hydro Technology for Rural Electrification, in line with University's vision and mission to be a resource of Church and Nation, functions primarily as the R&D and Industrial Extension arm of DOE and provide assistance in manpower training. The center focuses on technology, research development, training and capacity building.
Renewable Energy Association Philippines
REAP’s major goal is the advocacy, development, utilization and commercialization of Renewable Energy technologies and systems in the Philippines.
