Project Management Office
The day-to-day operational management of the CBRED Project is the responsibility of the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO isresponsible to the DOE and provides the mechanism and technical inputs necessary to integrate the results of the various activities. It also ensures the satisfactory performance
of the project members and contractors that are directly and those that will be involved in the project implementation.
Role of the Project Management Office
- Coordination with the PMOs of other related on-going projects for the purpose of facilitating the implementation of top management’s decision on delineation of project thrusts and direction;
- Preparation of work plans, budget, and TORs of consultants, trainers, and subcontractors;
- Monitoring and evaluation of progress of project activities;
- Arranging of regular review meetings and ensure effective coordination of project activities;
- Preparation and dissemination of project reports and other information materials;
- Maintenance of books and records required for financial record-keeping and internal control;
- Submission of timely and accurate financial reports and progress reports to UNDP;
- Technical and administrative support for the initial operation of the MSC;
- Oversight on project implementation, under the guidance of DOE and UNDP;
- Management of day-to-day project operations;
- Monitoring RE activities throughout the country and recommend strategies and measures towards complementation; and
- Providing Secretariat and technical support to PSC, REIAC, and other concerned Project units
The PMO Structure
